too wet to ride eh??! well don’t feel down. Grap a waterproof coat
and do some patching up on your trails. These tips will prolong
the life of your jumps.
if it is wet..
- start by picking up any litter (for obvious reasons).
- rake up sticks and leaves from the run up, bowls and run out.
- make sure the drainage is effective.
- fix the lips of your jumps by slapping on some uber wet mud and
shaping it.
- fill in any cracks
if it is dry...
- sweep up the dust
- wet the jumps
- clean up the litter
- try to patch up the broken lips wetting some dirt with a
watering can and slapping it on helps.
Top Ten Tips:
1. Keep your trails clean and litter free
2. Try to avoid cutting down live trees.
3. Water regularly keeps the dust down
4. Fix up the lips and cased landings as often as possible
5. Get your mates to helps you.
6. Avoid digging holes near you jumps
7. Get some old carpet on your lips as this hold em together better
8. Build over winter as the jumps dry slower making them harder
9. Take your time, Don’t expect it to happen over night
10. If its not private land GET PERMISSION
