Stage Two - The Lip

Now you should have two big mounds of dirt sitting in front of you
Well Done

Now for the technical bit. Shaping the take off and
constructing the lip, first of all stamp the pile down into a basic
shape. It helps if it has just rained and the dirt is kinda sticky.
Remember the more the sides slope the stronger the jump will
be. So the take off can be built with two purposes. 1. To send
you high 2. To send you low and far. You should be aiming in
the middle of this to extremes. Like this : once you have the
shape either grap your flat header spade or some 2X4 and
smack er down. If the mud is sticking to your spade its not
wet enough underneath the top layer of dirt. The landing should
be about the same steepness but not as curved. For a trick jump
try to have the landing flat.
